KERRY BLUE TERRIERS IN SPAIN: THE HISTORY.

The name Luis de Castro is already known to our readers due to his interesting report on KBTA und National show in England in April. The article below has been written for the Handbook 2008 of the Kerry Blue Terrier Association. With his consent it is reproduced with some update here as well as for the readers of the Russian Magazine "Moscow Kerries".

THE HISTORY of the BREED(Reproduced with the kind permission from "Dog World")

Cara Davani, the author of this article, tells about herself in "The Kerry Blue Terrier Association Handbook 2008": "Kerries were part of my family before I was born. I have photos of myself as a young baby with a Kerry behind me. Cherie Walters (Kamaghan) is my aunt and I used to show her Kerries in junior handling classes".

So, she grew up with Kerries, worked for many years with Arkama and now has her own kennel with prefix Kebulak. As she knows English breeding from inside we are very glad to have her permission to publish this article here. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
